Tannille’s practice is a gentle, non-judgmental, creative and open practice. Tannille allows the person she is supporting to guide the process of assessment and intervention.
Tannille helps people to rediscover who they are and what unique skills, strengths may have been covered over by negative stories from society and past experiences. Something close to Tannille’s heart is holistic practices of yoga, somatic practices and spiritual practices.
As an occupational therapist Tannille believes engaging in life and activities that we enjoy keeps us well and helps us to heal. Growing up, Tannille has beautiful memories of being in the garden with her Poppy and her Nanny watching them from the kitchen. Poppy loved marigolds - vibrant yellow and orange flowers. Tannille remembers that when the marigolds would die they would rub them in their hands to find more seeds. These seeds they planted and more and more flowers grew. For Tannille, marigolds represent and tell a story of hope, that no matter what happens we can always heal and regrow.
